Weston on Trent

Situated on the north bank of the River Trent, Aston on Trent provides a wealth of unspoilt countryside, with the Mersey and Trent canals running through the village. There is historic architecture to be enjoyed throughout the village, such as the 13th Century old Saxon church, St Mary the Viring, and Weston Hall, a grade II listed building which is now enjoyed by the community as a pub and restaurant.

There are two pubic houses in the village, as well as the Old Midland Railway running through the village, providing a pleasant footpath and cycleway into Melbourne. Weston on Trent also has its own Primary School, and is a 3 minute drive from the neighbouring village of Aston on Trent with another primary school and a variety of amenities.
